Pockie Pirates: Alvida (fat)

"Iron Mace" Alvida is an A Rank crew member. In One Piece Anime, she is the first enemy encountered by Luffy. She was a fat, ugly woman carrying an Iron Mace. Soon, there was a twist in her life.

Alvida is a Swordsman, and a Captain (secondary profession) which gives a sailing bonus of +10% Critical Damage. She can be recruited for free after the encounter with the Alvida Pirates.

Attributes:
Str 300
Int/Wis 120
Phys/Con 390
Agi 190

Special Skill:
Alvida's Hammer: Attacks a single target for a great physical damage.
This skill inflicts additional damage equal to 20% of the target's remaining HP.

Upgraded Special Skill:
None. Alvida cannot be upgraded as of now. That's why she doesn't have an Upgraded Special Skill.

Learn how to:

Develop
To get the full benefits of having Alvida in your crew, develop and increase her Str attribute. Increasing strength will increase her physical damage and, thus, her Special Skill's damage, too. It also increases her tanking abilities. Her Special Skill involves physical damage which is blocked by physical defense.

Devil Fruit
Max health is increased by 20%.

Learn how to:

Position
Alvida can inflict good damage to enemies and be the tank, too. If you have a good or better tank, place her at the center to sum up more damage for the enemy and be the next tank if ever the main tank gets beaten. The additional 20% of the target's remaining HP damage is good when battling opponents with high HP.

Recommended Passive Skills

  • Stout - Raise your physical defense by (strength*0.5*skill level) points.
  • Rampage - Transfer 50% of your physical defense into 60% physical attack. The effect will last for 2 rounds. One skill level up increases 10% physical attack.
Pros and Cons
Pros
  • Inflicts more damage to opponents with higher HP
  • Very useful at early levels (15-40)
  • Can tank
  • Can be recruited for free
Cons
  • Cannot be upgraded
  • Bad at later levels (40+)

"Iron Mace" Alvida, overall, is a strong crew member at the early levels because of the additional damage she deals with respect to the opponent's HP. She can tank while dealing good damage to the front line. She will be not as strong in the higher levels or when compared to S ranks.

Pockie Pirates: How to Get Devil Fruits

Devil Fruits are mystical fruits in One Piece. When one is eaten, it gives that person a special ability or trait. They come in various forms, colors, and types.

In Pockie Pirates, they enhance that crew member's abilities or give him/her another ability. It also comes in different colors which indicate the crew members' rank that can eat them.

Types
This should be the logic, but there are other crew members who are higher in rank but eats a lower rank Devil Fruit. This will be investigated further.

Devil Fruit C - for A Rank crew members (they say)
Devil Fruit B - for B Rank crew members
Devil Fruit A - for A Rank crew members
Devil Fruit S - for S Rank crew members
Devil Fruit SS - for SS Rank crew members

Pockie Pirates: "Sky Rider" Shura

"Sky Rider" Shura is an S rank crew member. In One Piece, he is also one of Enel's Skypiea Priests who uses the Ordeal of the Strings to punish who they consider criminals.

Shura is a Sniper, and a bomb loader (secondary profession) which gives a sailing bonus of +10% Attack Speed. He can be recruited from the East Blue Bar which unlocks at level 24.

Attributes:
Str 470
Int/Wis 100
Phys/Con 220
Agi 400

Special Skill:
Fire Pistol: Deals 120% physical damage to enemies in a column while burning them, causing them to lose 10% of their maximum HP each turn for two (2) turns.

Upgraded Special Skill:
Flame Gun: Attack current target and all enemies in a row and a line of that target, cause 200% physical damage, and burn the target for two (2) rounds.

To enable his Upgraded Special Skill, we need to upgrade him by going to Crew Upgrade.
Upgrade Requirements:

Learn how to:

Develop
To get the full benefits of having Shura in your crew, develop and increase his Str attribute. Increasing strength will increase his physical damage and, thus, his Special Skill's damage. His Special Skill involves physical damage which is blocked by physical defense. Upgrading him will cause 200% physical damage minus physical defense to the target enemy. This is not a verified formula, but it represents the logic.

Devil Fruit
Increases his Physical Attack by 10%. Normal attack has a chance to deal damage to the entire row of enemies.

Learn how to:

Position
Shura is best when he is behind a tank, but not necessarily. He can tank and can sum a good amount of damage, too.  If you have a good or better tank, place him at the center or at the back to sum up more damage for the enemy. The burn damage will be annoying for the enemy, too.

Recommended Passive Skills

  • Moonwalk - Make normal attack deal twice the damage and raise yourself a 0.2% dodge rate when releasing the skill. One skill level up increases dodge rate 0.2%. Dodge rate can be stacked until the end of the battle. Skill release rate increases with skill level.
  • Fast Chase - There's a certain odd of launching one extra normal attack to next target after killing one enemy. Skill release rate increases with skill level.
Pros and Cons
Pros
  • Damages lines of enemies
  • Very useful at early levels (24-50)
Cons
  • Not all enemies will be hit. Good enemy positioning can render him not useful.
  • Bad at later levels (70+)

"Sky Rider" Shura, overall, is a strong crew member at the early levels like Satori because of the burn damage he deals to the target enemies. Burn damage damages the enemy every time their turn to attack comes. Some people find it really annoying. They will try to create good positioning strategy and can prevent Shura's Special skill to unleash its fury.

Pockie Pirates: How to Level Up a Crew Fast

Leveling up a crew is important. As the level gets higher, the attributes and stats get higher, too, including HP. To level up a crew fast, utilize all of these available options.

Training
Train your crew every after the 24-hour training time. A non-VIP can open up to two(2) training positions. A VIP can open more. I suggest opening the second position as early as possible. This will keep two of your crew members in par with your Protagonist's level. And opening the 2nd just costs 100 Gold.

While training, use Training Potions to add more EXP to a crew member by clicking Speed Training or traing*10. Speedy Training consumes one (1) potion and train*10 consumes 10 potions. Training Potions can be gained through fighting(enemy) and doing dungeons.

Daily Tasks
Click on the Daily Tasks button which is located beside Elite Campaign. Completing these tasks will grant your protagonist good EXP bonus apart from actually getting EXP while doing the task. Each task completed will give 5 Active Points. Every twenty (20) Active Points, click Submit to claim the Reward.

Clicking Refresh at the top will sometimes increase your reward from Average to Epic. Epic gives the biggest rewards. Each Refresh costs 2 Gold first time, 4 Gold at second time, 6 at third, and so on up to 10 Gold each try.

Save the goblets and exchange them for items in the Redeem Shop by clicking Exchange button. There are many items available including EXP Cards. You can get different goblets as you level up.

Fighting
All of your active crew members gain experience points by fighting, including your protagonist. Here's a tip: Always use your Vitality points because there is a 1-point recovery every thirty (30) minutes. Not using them will waste the recovery points because of the vitality points cap.

Consume it through:
fighting while doing quests
Elite campaigns
Dungeons

Shop
The Shop has many items available for purchase including Experience Cards. The items available for purchase are random and available for Gold and silver. EXP Cards are sold for silver. Use them on your crew members Watch out for outlet update every Sixty (60) minutes.

Special Events
There are special events, usually every start of the month. There are rewards for buying Gold, salvaging, and, sometimes, there are rewards for logging in. Sometimes, the rewards can be chests that contain these EXP Cards. Watch out for any news on the Pockie Pirates homepage.

There will more ways to level up fast. Stay tuned for updates.

Pockie Pirates: How to Recruit a Crew Member

Mugiwara Pirates

A captain needs its crew, strong ones, or at least with potential. The stronger your crew is the stronger you become.

To recruit a crew member in Pockie Pirates, a level of 24 is required. Being level 24 unlocks the East Blue Bar where we can recruit 12 crew members.

Recruiting
Please read all the steps before trying!
  1. Go to Orange Town or any other village/town after it.
  2. Look for the Bar Owner. She looks like a waitress.
  3. Click on her and choose Recruitment.
  4. You have one (1) free try of an Advanced Call Up each day or each reset time (12 AM GMT-5). Go ahead and click Advanced Convene just once.
  5. Carefully look at the cards if one of them is at least an A rank. An S rank is better and an SS rank is the best, but there are no SS rank crew members in this bar yet.
  6. And, now they should shuffle. Be aware that the animation of the shuffling cards are, in no way, telling the  REAL location of each one. You can think of them as an illusion and the card that you want is in any position now.
  7. Choose and click a card, the one which you feel is the one you want. It will flip and will display the crew member you can recruit. If good luck is on your side today, it will display the crew member that you want.
  8. Click Recruit to recruit. If good luck is somewhere else and the crew member you want is still hidden, you can flip another card for 20 Gold, another card for 30 Gold, then 40 Gold, then the last for 50 Gold.
  9. If you got an A rank, S rank, or SS rank, click Exit and go to your Logbook.
  10. Look for the crew you just got and click Convene. The new crew member will be in your Crew now.

There is a big chance that all the cards will be B ranks. If this happens, you can choose to recruit them or not. I suggest you recruit them if you don't have any crew member at the moment. They can be replaced later when you get a stronger one.

Convene Costs

Convene - 30,000 silver
Advanced Convene - 50 Gold
Super Convene - 500 Gold

VIPs get more Advanced Convene tries each day.

To learn when the other bars unlock, read here.

Pockie Pirates: Satori of the Forest

Satori of the Forest is an S rank crew member. In One Piece, she is one of Enel's Skypiea Priests who uses the Ordeal of the Balls to punish who they consider criminals.

Satori is a Doctor, and a cook (secondary profession) which gives a sailing bonus of +15% Food Capacity. She can be recruited from the East Blue Bar which unlocks at level 24.

Attributes:
Str 110
Int/Wis 409
Phys/Con 360
Agi 320

Special skill:
Cloud Dragon: Deals 80% of Magic Damage to all enemies with a random chance of stunning them for 1 turn, poisoning them for 2 turn, silencing them for 2 turns, or reducing their defense (physical and magical) by 50% for 2 turns.

Upgraded Special Skill:
Surprise Balls: Attack all enemies and cause 100% magical damage, having a change to cause one of the following debuff to your target: STUN, BURN, SLUMBER, and FREEZE. The effect will last for 1 round.

To enable her Upgraded Special Skill, we need to upgrade her by going to Crew Upgrade.
Upgrade Requirements:

Learn how to:

Develop
To get the full benefits of having Satori in your crew, develop and increase her Int/Wis attribute. Increasing intelligence or wisdom will increase her magic damage and, thus, her Special Skill's damage. Her Special Skill involves magic damage which is blocked by magical defense and not physical defense. Upgrading her will cause 100% magical damage minus magical defense to the target enemy. This is not a verified formula, but it represents the logic.

Devil Fruit
Increases her Magical Defense by 50%. If the enemy target has debuffs, normal attack deals 2 times the damage.

Learn how to:
Get Devil Fruits

Position
Satori is best when she is behind a tank. She can sum a good amount of damage if she stays longer in battle. Placing her at the back will turn out to be the best positioning if she has a good tank. She will have more chances to disable the enemies.

Recommended Passive Skills

  • Wind Wing - Aura Skill. Raise overall speed of your side by 50 points in battle. One skill level up increases speed by 50 points.
  • Holy Counter - There's a certain odd of launching a normal attack to the damage source upon being attacked and gives recovery status for 2 rounds. Skill release rate increases with skill level.
  • Inspiration - There's a certain odd of recovering 11% of your current HP at the end of each round. One skill level up increases HP recovery by 1%. Skill release rate increases with skill level.
Pros and Cons
Pros
  • Damages all enemies
  • Very useful at early levels (24-50)
Cons
  • Poor in Physical Defense
  • Bad at later levels (70+)

Satori of the Forest, overall, is a strong crew member at the early levels because most of the enemy or maybe the other players don't have much magical defense. This is because they are not developing yet, or they don't have the proper equipment with enhancements yet.

Pockie Pirates: Attributes Guide

One Piece MMO game

Protagonist and Crew attributes begin to matter as you level up. Developing them will benefit the particular member.

Each crew has a particular attribute that will enormously increase its primary stat. In the picture, for example, is Blackbeard Pirates' navigator, Laffitte. His effectiveness relies on Intelligence. As his intelligence increases, his special skill, Funeral, increases in damage. This is a feature of a special skill apart from Intelligence increasing Magic Attack.

Strength increases Physical Attack and Physical Defense
Intelligence increases Magic Attack and Magic Defense
Physique increases HP
Agility increases Speed

There are two options in developing an attribute. One is consuming Prestige (earned by fighting) and consuming Gold (earned by completing fights and by buying with real money).
One Piece MMO game

Prestige is being consumed in this image. Notice that there are greens and a red one. A green color and an arrow pointing up is telling that this particular stat will increase when Replace is clicked. A red color and an arrow pointing down is telling that this particular stat will decrease when Replace is clicked. We want Laffitte's intelligence to increase, so we will click Maintain here. As an attribute increases, the harder it gets to increase it further.

This will not be easy. Apart from this testing our patience it is also very tiring and can get painful to our hand. I suggest using the keypad as a mouse. Press Alt+left Shift+NumLock to enable keyboard mouse.

Key 5 is for left clicking
Key 4 is for moving left
Key 6 is for moving right
Key 2 is for moving down
Key 8 is for moving up

The mouse is still active even while using the keyboard mouse. In order to disable, just press Alt+left Shift+NumLock again.

Have a happy adventure!

Pockie Pirates: A One Piece MMO Game

One Piece MMO
Are you a One Piece fan? Here is a game that you should try. Many One Piece fans play this game while sharing their thoughts about the anime.

Pockie Pirates is a licensed One Piece MMO that faithfully recreates the One Piece anime series. Players take on the role of a sea-faring captain sailing the famous Grand Line trail with their friends, seeking epic adventure and treasures as they quest to become the King of Pirates.

You choose to be a Swordsman, Sniper, Navigator, or Doctor. Each has their own set of skills. You gain Nakama as you venture and level up. Be aware that getting a crew member is not easy. It is based both on luck, patience, and perseverance. Sounds like Luffy?

As you level up, attributes begin to matter. Not just to your own character, but also to your crew members. Strength, Intelligence, Physique, and Agility boosts stats namely Physical Attack, Physical Defense, Magic Attack, Magic Defense, Hit, Dodge, Crit, Speed, and extra stats namely Physical Pierce, Magical Pierce, Physical Mitigation, Magical Mitigation, Anti-Crit Hit, Block Rate, and Break Block.

As an adventurer, you also gain silver and gold. These can be used to purchase an item or increase stats. Gold is better than silver, but it is costly and needs patience.

There are many other features in the game. Learn more here.
Register here and choose Pockie Pirates.
